Background / Challenges

In close cooperation with The Public Works Authority „ASHGHAL“ the target was to set up a testsite at a busy road in Doha/Qatar („Vegetables Market“) to prove the light output of the street light luminaire on the one hand and the workability of the system in extreme climatic heat conditions during the summer months on the other hand. After one year of trial period there was no single default or failure during usage. As a consequence of that OWLS got the position to be a qualified supplier of LED luminaires in Qatar.
